Friends,
I am really in a grand mood today, so if I wear you out I apologize up front. Something about the changing of the seasons, looking from my office at the Farmer's Market, having my 6 year old get in bed with us at 4:00 AM, all seems to make everything right in my part of the world.
I can't decide between fall and spring. I guess I like each best as I get to them. Anticipation in life is truly a wonderful thing with each day anew, and the potential for something new and wonderful to happen .
Now, it is down to business. The clearest indication of why Wintergreen is such a good value is that I was tracking home prices at a luxury resort in West VA and other resorts yesterday. We are certainly not the West VA resort, but we are not two million and up for homes and we have Central Virginia. How could it get any better than Wintergreen and this beautiful area with all it has to offer. And since I am basically "cheap", we have great values and a terrific selection in all segments of the market.
I always like to use stock market analogies, and it seems to me that over the summer we have been testing the bottom, and those of you more sophisticated in investments,which we don't market, know more about what that means. The last two months have been much better in terms of both sales and traffic, and this is good news on both accounts.
Best News: I finally have a web site, and a good one if I do say so myself. It has lots of information and all multiple listings priced either low to high or high to low separated by homes and home sites. It is a great quick reference and an easy way to see all that is on the market, and a very nice Wintergreen video as well.
My web site firm updates the site daily so it should have the most current information, and it also has all my Newsletter's with the previous months archived. So, give it a shot and let me know what you think.
We are still set for a late November opening of our Mountain office and Discovery Center. Now is the time to look at home sites and consider building in the spring, and we have great prices on everything in Stone Orchard. Drive through on you next visit; the outdoor fireplace and community gathering area is a great place to meet neighbors and renew friendships. And to see the best sunsets in Stoney Creek.
